​Capturing a life story is an amazing experience – for both the storyteller and the listener/writer. It is also a labor-intensive effort. To fit all budgets, I offer multiple approaches to capturing your story. Prices vary based on the unique requirements of each project.

FULL LIFE STORY

A beautiful heirloom-quality hardbound book that includes pictures and stories (written in first person) from your childhood up to your current life. Completing a full life story typically requires up to 10 hours of interviews or more (depending on the level of detail you want to include). Prices are based on the number of interview hours needed. A typical full life story project takes anywhere from three to nine months to complete.

PARTIAL LIFE STORY

A beautiful heirloom-quality hardbound book that includes pictures and stories (written in first person) from one or more key periods of your life. Completing a partial life story typically requires from 1 to 8 interview hours, depending on the amount of material you want to include. Prices are based on the number of interview hours required. A partial life story project typically takes from one to four months to complete.

INTERVIEW RECORDINGS

If your budget does not allow for the production of a book, you may want to consider this product offering. I conduct interviews with you – as many interview hours as you need – and provide you with a flash drive or CD of the audio recordings. Prices vary based on the number of interview hours and the options you select. Options include cleaning of the audio to remove external noise, editing of the content, transcribing the content, and designing a special CD cover.
